It is here! The inaugural event for FOUR OR MORE is live. A ficathon designed to get more fic featuring relationships with four or more people out into the world!
Inspired by the Rarest of Rairpairs ficathon, this first event will run from August 15th to October 20th.

GUIDELINES

- Any medium! Any rating! As long as your work focuses on a relationship with 4 or more people, it's allowed!
- No minimum or maximum but fills must be complete.
- You don’t have to fill something to leave a prompt. The more prompts, the merrier!
- Prompts must be for relationships featuring 4 or more people.
- You may link to the fill if it is posted elsewhere. Warnings are not mandatory, but you're free to include them if you wish to do so.
- You may combine these with other events, as long as the other event allows it.
- Small fandoms welcome!
- Don't forget to comply with the community guidelines.


POSTING PROMPTS

Post the prompt in the following format: “Fandom: Ship - Prompt”(*)
For example:
"Sense8: August 8th cluster - birthday sex"

“Any fandom” and “any relationship” allowed and encouraged!
For example:
“Any: Any Relationship - Demon AU”(**)
”Doctor Who: Any Relationship - lost in a hostile planet”

(*) Please remember all ratings are allowed in this event. If you only wish to receive SFW fills, you must say so in your prompt. There's no need to warn for NSFW works.
For example:
"Teen Wolf: Lydia/Stiles/Kira/Malia/Scott - living together - SFW"
(**) No need to clarify it's a 4+ relationship, but you're welcome to be specific if you want to.
For example:
"Any: Any OT5 - band!AU" (meaning you'd like this prompt to be filled specifically with an OT5)

Just reply to the comment with either your fill under a cut or a link to your fill. Don't forget to post to the AO3 collection if you so desire.

Hello, this event looks like fun and I'll be thinking of some prompts to share! I was just wondering, do works have to fill specific prompts or is the collection open to any qualifying works? I've seen ficathons that are both prompt-based and not so I wasn't sure if the goal was to fill prompts or just share works in general.

Hi! That's an excellent questions and something I should've clarified in the post, but the idea is to fill one of the prompts (at least for this event).

However, if you have works that would qualify (i.e. feature a relationship between 4 or more people), but that don't fill any prompt, you're more than welcome to self promote in the comm. Here you can find a template to share your work/rec with us.

On the other hand, you can always ask a friend or acquaintance to prompt something you'd like and anon comments will be on the whole time. I'm just saying.

Hello! Are requests for/fills with complex polycules welcome, e.g. triad A/B/C where only C is involved with D and only B is involved with E who's married to F and G?

Not only is this (and any!) configuration allowed, but I'm extremely curious about how this works now.

I'm not gonna police the configurations the relationships may have, so feel free to share them and entertain us (and if you decide to map this, I'll be delighted to see it!)

Hi there. I'm not the group owner but in the event this one was inspired by when there were multiple prompts, you would just reply to the main post and say which prompt you were using. Here's an example: https://resurrectfeeling.dreamwidth.org/6925.html?thread=15117#cmt15117

Just as luvbarryfefe explained, just mention the prompt you're filling in the reply and you should be good!

For example:

The prompts are below, in the comments of this same post. I will also be cross-posting some of them to tumblr depending on how much time I have to make nice graphics to go with them.

Some people have submitted multiple prompts per comment, some have submitted only one per comment. You can fill the prompt on your personal blog, AO3 or just in a comment behind a cut. Just make sure to say which prompt you're filling (and don't forget to link it if it's posted elsewhere).

On how you can submit prompts: You can leave a comment as a reply to the main post. This can be anon or not, it's up to you.

I'm sure it's okay, but OCs and xReaders are okay (for both fills and prompts) as long as it fills the four-or-more requirement, right? (Also thank you for running this event <3)

You'd be correct! Canon characters, RPF, OCs and xReaders in any configuration are all welcome! If there's 4 people or more in the relationship, your work can definitely be part of the event.

For example, a work that's tagged as Steve Rogers/Robert Downey Jr/OC/Reader would still fill the requirement of 4 or more people and as such, it can be prompted or used as a fill.

Hello! If a work fulfills more than one prompt, or similar prompts that two different people posted, can I submit the fic for both/all prompts?

Yes, you can submit for both prompts, but say so in your author's note so people don't get confused if it's not obvious which prompts is fulfilling :)
